- Centre For Education is a
premier Institution for Socio-educational Development &
Research activities. It is serving the society since 1977 &
is engaged in multiple activities in the field of
educational, medical, social, cultural, Rural & tribal up-liftment
along with Rehabilitation work for Thalassaemic & Aids
patients.
- Presently C.ED. is serving
through 23 sub-centres almost in all 22 Districts of
Jharkhand. Most of the Branches are active.
- Placement from Computer
Dept., Fashion Designing Dept., Interior Designing and
Beauty & Cosmetics Dept. is average of 72% including Govt.,
Semi Govt. & under self Employment programmes.
C.ED. has introduced Jute Craft Training under the competent
incharge-ship of Mr. Manish Kumar. This is low budgeted
training programme of Minimum 3 Months to 1 year Diploma
course. After completion of this Training there is lot of
Job Opportunities.
- C.ED. has completed the
following Govt. sponsored programmes such as :
Govt. of Jharkhand has sponsored to train 132 Nos.
Minorities to be self employed in District of Garwah & the
training was completed successfully & out of 132 Nos., 66
trainees are engaged in Job.
- In Pakur District, Govt. of
Jharkhand has sponsored 132 No’s candidates of Minority
community, 1st Batch training of 33 No’s have been completed
& rest candidates training is going to Start from July 2007.
- Govt. of India sponsored
the training programe for 122 No’s candidate, in Simdega
District Under the competent guide lines of Jharkhand state
Tribal Co-Operative Development Corporation for the
Scavengers and their dependents under National Scheme of
Liberation & Rehabilitation of Scavengers. And the project
was completed successfully and out of 122 trainees, 90
trainees have been absorbed as per their trades.
Central Govt.’s instution - The Khadi Vikas Industries
Commission has sponsored a Computer training programme for
its employees from Jharkhand through our Centre.
- Jharkhand Govt. has
approved the Educational Complex programme to teach class I
to class V along with complete Lodging, Fooding and
Residential facilities, for Senha Block of Lohardaga
District, and has been forwarded to Central Govt. for its
funding.
- This year C.ED. is working
on its own ICON project under which we would be able provide
100% Job guarantee to Rural unemployed youths.
- C.ED. is working its own
Thalassaemia Research Institute (TRI) and Hospital on wheels
(HOW) project under the competent management of its Medical
Cell. The project is awaited for the foreign aid.
- C.ED. Legal Cell is active
& many new projects will be taken up from the ensuing
session.
- C.ED. Social welfare
Division has been active through out the year under the
competent Chairmanship of Ms. Namrata Singh. She has
organised :-
(i) Health related
activities like Blood Donation from 51st to 56th camps. i.e.
5 No. of camps were arranged and successfully managed.
(ii) Village adoption
programme Purnpani Village at Ormanjhi Block was selected
and started with Literacy Awareness, Arranging lunch
together programme, Distributing clothes among the
villagers.
(iii) Health Checkup
Camp at Harmu School among the Children of Sarva Shiksha
programme, 250 children were checked and free medicines were
distributed.
(iv) Aids Awareness
programmes were also conducted.
- C.ED. Educational Division
has organised :-
(i) Work Shop on Beauty
with Skin & Hair care.
(ii) Fashion Designing
Dept. has organised Vastram under the competent Chairmanship
of Mr. Shashikant Narayan & was successful.
(iii) Fashion Designing
Dept. Students were taken for an exposure visit to Tiril
Khadi Ashram by Mr. Sabir Hussain.
(iv) English Dept. has
organised several Debates, Group Discussion & Personality
Development Work Shop.
(v) Computer Dept. has
organised a Seminar on the importance of Internet in our
life.
